Article 706-3 of the Penal Procedure Code

Victims of the crimes of (inter alia) trafficking in human beings, slavery, and working and living conditions contrary to human dignity are entitled to compensation. To receive compensation, the victim must be a French citizen or the crimes in question must have been committed on French territory.
