Report of the Collective’s meeting with the Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research held 5 June 2014

The purpose of the meeting of 5 June 2014 at the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health was to ensure effective application of the National Action Plan adopted by the Council of Ministers on May 14 and to develop synergies between departments and associations while expressing the findings and proposals of civil society. These meetings are a follow-up up the Collective’s letters of appeal which were sent to M Hamon and Mme Touraine on 15 and 16 April 2014.
The associations present on Wednesday, June 5, 2014 met Mr Romain Guerry, advisor on health, sport, disability and the fight against inequality in the office of M. Hamon, Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research, and Ms Aida Kergroach of the office of Mr. Guerry.
The associations of the Collective present at the meeting that afternoon discussed with Ms Mathilde Marmier advisor on ethics and democratic healthcare to Ms. Marisol Touraine, Minister of Social Affairs and Health and with Mrs Marie-Autumn Thépot advisor in charge of the fight against exclusion from the office of Ségolène Neuville, Secretary of State for Disabled Persons and the Fight Against Exclusion.
The day before, Wednesday, June 4, 2014, the Collective had organised a meeting to finalize the document explaining its findings and proposals related to the "National Plan of Action against Human Beings Trafficking 2014 - 2016."
