Report of the Collective’s meeting held 28 March, 2014

Purpose of the meeting
The meeting of March 28, 2014 follows the meeting of 17 February 2014, during which the minutes of the meeting of February 3, 2014 with Mrs. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, Minister of Women’s Rights and representative for the Government Ayrault, was formally adopted. This summary was attached to the letter sent to Ms. Vallaud-Belkacem on 21 February 2014. The Collective had also sent a letter dated February 21 to Jean-Marc Ayrault, former prime minister. Mr. Ayrault responded April 18, 2014 indicating that he had referred the case to the Departments of Justice and Women’s Rights.

The agenda of the meeting of March 28, 2014 was as follows:
1. Update on the National Plan of Action Against Trafficking in Human Beings and draft letters to the Ministers of Justice and the Interior. This was extended to the Minister of National Education, the Minister of Women’s Rights and the Prime Minister.
2. Update the directory.
3. Renovate the Collective’s website.
4. Opportunities for collaboration with trade unions.
5.The experience of assocations dealing with victims of human trafficking as a result of armed conflict.
6. Voices of associations: past and future events
