Report of the Collective’s meeting held February 17, 2014

Friday 21 February 2014

The Collective’s meeting of Monday, February 17, 2014 was to decide on the action of the Collective "Together against trafficking in human beings" after the meeting with the Minister of Women’s Rights and government representative Najat Vallaud-Belkacem of Monday, 3 February 2014.
The meeting of February 3, prepared the official presentation of the ’National Plan of Action Against Trafficking in Human Beings 2014-2016’, which was postponed (until further notice) in April 2014, according to the clarification from the office of the Minister of Women’s Rights. The Collective’s members who attended the meeting of Monday, February 17 adopted the meeting report (attached) of February 3. It was agreed that the summary of the meeting of 3 February will be sent to the Minister of Women’s Rights. This summary is not intended to constitute a new program that would supersede the previous steps of the Collective to the Minister of Women’s Rights. In addition, members of the Collective present at the February 17 meeting agreed on the contents of the letters (attached) that will be addressed respectively to Najat Belkacem-Vallaud-and Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.
