PREPARATION OF 2014-2016 NATIONAL PLAN AGAINST TRAFFICKING in FRANCE

Proceedings of ’February 3, 2014’ meeting with Ms. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem,the ministry of women’s rights, validated at the Collective’s meeting of February 17, 2014.

Purpose of the meeting

The meeting held on Monday, February 3, 2014 in the presence of Ms. Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, Minister of Women’s Rights and representative of the government, was prepared in advance by the informal meeting of Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Ministry of Women’s Rights . It aimed to identify the demands and requirements of the Collective before the passage of the National Plan of Action against Trafficking in Human Beings for 2014-2016 by the office. It was announced by the Minister of Women’s Rights that the plan would eventually be reviewed before being presented, and it is expected to be introduced in April 2014.
At the meeting of Monday, February 3, 2014, the associations and the minister explored all the possibilities of the National Action Plan as it was presented to them in the afternoon of Thursday, 30 January 2014. An analysis of the Plan had been made in advance by the associations present at the headquarters of Secours Catholique at the meeting of the Collective held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. The associations present regretted that important elements of the previous version have been removed or changed.
