Nigerian Girls Abducted and Threatened with Slavery: Michelle Obama denounces the actions of Boko Haram

While the International Community mobilises to come to the aid of the young student kidnapped by the Islamist sect Boko Haram April 14, 2014, Michelle Obama gave a speech on 10 May, the day before Mother’s Day in the United States, to denounce this appalling attck on women’s rights, and to express ’[her] revulsion and [her] sorrow after the abduction of over 200 Nigerians.’ The fundamentalists of Boko Haram have threatend to reduce these young girls to slavery.
