Coatnet, an international christian Network

Monday 8 October 2007

Using its wide experience, the Secours Catholique implements action as part of the Coatnet Network (Christian organizations against trafficking in human beings) which was created to develop a network of organizations and facilitate the exchange of information and coordinated by Caritas Europa.

Member organizations have established specific support to protect victims by providing a safe place and social, medical, psychological and legal assistance to individuals. In this context, Secours Catholique services have helped draft documents concerning the European Council Convention on Action Against Trafficking in Human Beings.
