December 1, 2014 in Marseille: 3rd Mediterranean Meeting on Today Slavery and Trafficking.

Despite the abolition of slavery over a century, women, men and children are still victims of it every day in the world.
Founded in 2001 in Marseille, the international organization against modern slavery (OICEM) assists victims of domestic slavery, forced labor, begging and sexual exploitation... Hundreds of people have benefited from the support of our multidisciplinary team.
This 3rd edition of the Mediterranean Meetings on Today Slavery (Rencontre Méditerranéenne sur l’ Esclavage Aujourd’hui) is an opportunity to give report on what constitutes a fundamental infringement of human beings’ rights.
The challenges of today Slavery and Trafficking in human beings can not be understood without the crossed opinions of different disciplines: law, anthropology, sociology, art, psychology ... During this workshop open to all, actors of the situation will discuss with you the realities and challenges of these contemporary forms of slavery in the Mediterranean and in the world.
