#INVISIBLES: A film to denounce child trafficking
Friday 21 October 2016
Trafficking in human beings is seen in France as a distant tragedy that is less relevant to us. This is certainly true regarding the trafficking and exploitation of children. The Secours Catholique with the Collective "Together against trafficking innhuman beings", decided to launch an awareness campaign on the situation of child victims of trafficking in France. A short film and an educational booklet to "make visible what is not."
#INVISIBLES: The movie
#INVISIBLES Is based on real facts.
The objective of this short film (in french), about fifteen minutes, directed by Guido Freddi, involving professional actors and amateurs, is to break today, the taboo of trafficking and exploitation of minors in France. The film tells the story of five children victims of trafficking within French society: domestic slavery, sexual exploitation, begging ...
Because hidden, because invisible, children trafficking remains difficult to diagnose and thus to eradicate. The film addresses to the general public, but especially to those who may identify young victims: educators, social workers, health professionals, police and policemen, judges, national and international institutions.
This campaign is organized with the support of Ministry of Culture and Communication, the National Consultative Commission on Human Rights (CNCDH) and the Defender of children’s Rights.
#INVISIBLES: The booklet
Developed in conjunction with the film #INVISIBLES, this documentary booklet (in french) offers an educational approach to discover the reality of minors trafficking and allow everyone to recognize a child victim of trafficking.
Comics show the three stories of the film, while "true stories" tell the reality of stolen lives of children here in France, in their complexity and singularity.
This document provides key to locate these victims, identify, guide and accompany or alert.
